Road Building

Forest road building is the construction and maintenance of permanent and temporary access structures. Each road is designed and constructed to specific standards based on the intention of accessing natural resources. User safety, water management and slope stability are some of the most important factors that contributes to the engineered configuration of a road system.

Permanent forest service roads are periodically inspected, maintained or upgraded to meet site and safety standards over time. Temporary accesses, such as logging block roads, are eventually deactivated and/or rehabilitated to a restored state where the site can reestablish natural vegetation and drainages. This is completed after resource obligations are met.

We have extensive experience in the construction, repair and maintenance of permanent and temporary forest roads. We specialize in meeting complex and challenging construction standards and have a strong understanding of road safety regulations and guidelines.
