Right-Of-Way Clearing

Right-of-way clearing is a continuous process that advocates for safe and efficient operations of a buried facility such as a pipeline or a waterline. In other cases, clearing involves the removal of understory vegetation and danger trees before they become hazardous to transmission and power lines.

This operation involves harvesting, stumping or brushing an easement granted or reserved over the land in preparation for buried facility placement, to construct access to one or to remove hazardous vegetation from one.

Merchantable timber is harvested for utilization to local mills for lumber, woodchips or biomass production. Other organics are left to decompose on site to supplement the soil nutrient cycle.
